Hey everyone, sad to say November will be my last month to feature lovely wallpapers and I would love to go out on a good feature

Unfortunately I have not been too well this month so I could not sort out a Halloween contest I'm so sorry! It would have been great to see some halloween wallpapers ah! But there are plenty of other contests going on for Halloween and I suggest you go check them out It's not too late to enter them!

I will see if I can get in a last minute contest or something fun for you guys to do, for now though . . .

Lets get started with some Suggestion Guidelines

I am currently the Wallpaper CV so before you send me a note make sure that the deviation is in Customization -> Wallpaper or its Sub Galleries (Abstract, HDTV, Vector etc)

• Just hit the "Send a Note" button on my profile page (at the top right) and add the subject: DD Suggestion


• Please only send as many thumbs as you want, you do not have to include a description for any of the wallpapers, but it would be nice to know why you think they deserve a DD.


• You can find the thumb code - :thumbxxxxxxxx: - to the right of every deviation - just copy and paste it into the note.


• You are also welcome to suggest yourself if you feel as if you deserve a DD.


• Please make sure that the deviant hasn't already received a Daily Deviation within the past 6 months!

So i thought i'd give the Customization > Wallpapers gallery a bit of a clean up.

I would like to point out the following things:

Anime Wallpapers

I have been moving anime ponies (?? this is a recent anime that's just appeared on tv? somewhere) but they are everywhere! I just have to say that they are not classed as a Wallpaper for *Customization*, even if it is your own drawing. It is Fan Art! Please if you have submitted any real "anime" wallpapers to the Customization Galleries can you please move them to Fan Art > Wallpapers - for example: naruto, dbz, pony (dash or something) would go into Fan Art. It would be a major help if you can move them for me or that you atleast know for next time.

Gaming Wallpapers

Same as Anime Wallpapers - they should not be in Customization, please move them to
Fan Art > Wallpapers > Games

Copyrighted Wallpapers

If you find a Wallpaper off the internet that you like and want to share with everyone.. Uploading it here is a big no no!! Any Celeb Wallpapers, Car Wallpapers that are not originally "shot" or created by the uploader will be removed! Same goes for uploading other peoples' Wallpapers from here, DA is quite a big community and if it's seen once before i can assure you that they will report you if you try to claim that the Wallpaper is yours (same goes with other categories), that being said, if you upload a Wallpaper belonging to another Deviant and link it to the original that is still wrong.

So just saying, if you have any wallpapers that do not belong to YOU please remove them..
Also TinEye will catch you out if you don't ..

Resolutions

Now because my Group home here is #Wallpaper-Lounge i have been seeing alot of Wallpapers that do not have proper monitor resolutions.

So I missed January.. way too much going on. I would like to apologize for me not being so active, i have over 4k Deviations to view... not bad considering i haven't looked at any for a few weeks!!

I got all the DD Suggestions (notes) and there was one i would of featured - but i couldnt access a computer or laptop to feature it so i had `Casperium feature for me. The others i have yet to ''full view''.

News Article Suggestions!

Right guys, can i ask you a huge favour in helping me out with the news article. As everyone knows i am the Wallpaper CV and i would like suggestions in what to put into this Article, i will be doing them monthly / and or on special occasions such as Christmas, New Years etc.

So to begin with i would like anyone to find a wallpaper that is suitable for winter, cold colours, snow, ice, landscapes, 3D/ abstract.. anything but it needs to be cold colours! Just to be featured in the news article, not for a DD hehe. Simply comment here with the link to the wallpaper, oh and yes I will also be hunting around, but if anyone could help that would be so great!

Just make sure it's a wallpaper and you can link to one of your own wallpapers if you have one that fits that criteria.

No more sci-fi features from me i'm afraid, that is all up to Ali - `Casperium go give her a hug, shes been through alot!
I will still suggest some though because i love sci-fi and space art

DD Suggestions

I would love some more send me some wallpapers!!

Please do not worry if you see me posting a couple of space art / sci-fi peices - I am featuring some just until Ali - `Casperium is back with us. She has asked me for a favour to feature a couple of things while shes away. This is only temporary and i hope she is happy with my selected features.. I have asked for permission with $Moonbeam13 to do this and she has said it is fine! I hope Ali comes back to us with a smile!

So.. If you would like anything in the Sci-Fi or Space Art mediums send me a note, same guidelines apply to this as the wallpapers, just a different category!

Also i have joined quite a few wallpaper groups in hope of finding some more wallpapers to feature! So please keep suggesting as i really would love some more walls to show off!

OH MY

I have featured my first Daily Deviation!



I am proud of it as it's the wallpaper that stood out for me in most of the groups and wallpaper galleries i looked around - and i have looked at loads!! Anyway this peice is simply stunning, and i love space and sci fi artwork so this was a real modern form, with the vectors and colours! Oh and the glowy bits can't believe i hadn't seen it before!

Crazy about wallpapers? Need a desktop wallpaper that is high quality with a range of categories to choose from? Well I would like to let you know about a group i have been with for a while now and i am currently the moderator on there, working alongside `Casperium, ^VSConcepts and the amazing team of contributers! This group has some pretty strict rules which i have followed since i joined - but without those rules it wouldn't be as it is now! Every wallpaper is the correct resolution for monitors, they are all high quality, the downloads are from this site (no external downloads) and they all give credit to stocks - if any have been used. I would personally suggest checking the group out and joining - even if you don't want to submit any wallpapers - you can watch the group and find some of the best wallpapers you can get.
